someone suggested we start a babyjoon blog—kurt—so they could keep up with all the latest while they're in tanzania, panama, etc... i tried to procure the babyjoon.blogspot.com domain, and i must say, i'm a little peeved at the person who has it. i checked it out, they haven't written anything in over 6 years. they should pull it down and give me the name. probably doesn't even use babyjoon@gmail.com... punk. some people...

anyway. you can see i have a countdown timer on here that counts down to the due second. i've got a babyjoon betting pool in the works. i'll print it up and bring it into the kbc (keweenaw brewing & childcare!) so you people can put some money on the due date. i got the birth down to the hour, whether the kid is born with or without a full head of hair, the length of the baby, the weight of the baby, and will adam pass out in the delivery room. see? plenty of opportunities to lay down your cash!

in the coming posts you can look forward to hearing all about zyggy's progress. zyggy, short for zygote, is what we call the baby now, since we don't know the sex and haven't decided on any names. feel free to leave some suggestions on names.
