holy crap, how time flies when you're a parent! sorry for neglecting the blog for the last... forever!
things are going well with lilly. she's still eating, sleeping, pooping and screaming. every day it seems like she's more awake and interested in things. at her last visit to the doctor she was 6lbs, 2.4oz. i'm sure she's well over 8lbs by now!! but seriously, she's getting really tall and filling out her skin nicely. she's starting to get those michelin man rolls that all babies are supposed to have; nice and chunky! it won't be too long before she grows out of her newborn sized clothing, and we'll be filling out college applications!
moms is doing well, also. she's looking like a real hot mama! people are generally disgusted by how good she looks for just having a baby... i guess that's what happens when you're not given enough time to put on all the baby weight!
nana and poppa g were just out for a visit. lilly got plenty of snuggling time with nana, but wasn't too impressed with poppa's lack of baby-holding skills. there's a great picture in the album of poppa holding her just before she started screaming! and moms actually left the house with lilly in her grandparents' care! what a big step for her!
what else is new? lilly has a few new favorite hobbies: one is blowing spit bubbles with her mouth, and the other is blowing bubbles in her bath with her butt! she really likes bath time. even if it's hot, she likes sitting in the warm water. last night abner joined the bath time festivities; he hopped up on the tub edge and had a few sips of 'lilly broth.' he thought it was tasty, but it needed a little more salt.
now that things are settling down more, we're making a better effort to take more pictures. check the album for up to date photos!!
i'm gonna sign off for now. tell everyone you know the blog's FINALLY been updated!! for those of you in vermont, we'll be seeing you in no time! there's a shower being planned, so if you didn't get the e-vite, let me know and i'll get you on the list!

So now it is November, what a difference 3 months makes! Doubling her weight and putting a smile on her face completely changes her!
