and lilly's getting rounder!

today lilly weighed in at 4lbs 7.3oz! i think i may have misquoted her weight in the last post, but rest assured that this weight is official! she's so big now that she's started to wet through the preemie diapers we've been putting on her! going to the newborn size. she had to get her outfit changed several times today because of it. peed so much... not to mention the poopie diapers. luckily those haven't spilled out, yet.

lilly also had a big day at the bottle. she took 28ml from moms via bottle this morning and then 34ml from moms via bottle this evening! we got one of those dr brown bottles at target to see if she'd like it. we cleaned it and left it with her stuff. when we came back for her evening feeding nurse 'don't call me mouse at work' michelle had already started her meal with the bottle, but she didn't put all the regulating bits in it! 'for some reason she was just gulping the milk down with this new bottle.' she said. i looked over to the counter and mentioned that, 'those missing parts might have something to do with it...' it was hilarious!

moms and dads have moved to the days inn. it's much quieter here. i'm pretty sure the lab is on the floor above those hospitality rooms and all night the tubes were running. they have a system of tubes that shoots specimens all over the hospital not unlike the drive-thru at a bank. and damn, are those things loud!? not to mention the dumpster right outside the window they'd slam around all night. jeesh... now we have real beds, a real tv, and our very own fridge. all at a seriously discounted 'medical rate.'

AND, we got a new camera. it's so small and slick and fast and good at taking pictures! just so exciting. AND we learned infant CPR. so, if you know an infant that needs CPR, give us a call.

so that's it. i'm going to go to bed in my real bed tonight. g'night
