first doctor appointment

lilly had her first doctor's appointment this morning. you'll all be happy to know that she now weighs in at 5½lbs!! can you believe it!? she hasn't grown in length at all, but it won't be long before she fills in her skin with all that baby fat!

not much else is going on. she pretty much just eats, sleeps, and poops. that's all we expect her to do, as well. abner's starting to warm up to her, i think. he at least doesn't run and hide every time she makes a noise. that's a good sign, right? i told him last night that it won't be long before she's chasing him down and dressing him in all her clothes and putting hats on him! he wasn't too keen on the idea. he was, however, more interested in the prospect of her feeding him from the table when she's big enough. now he's making more of an effort to form a bond...
