i grows into it, dads!

well, we're settling in here at home. slowly unpacking the last three weeks' worth of accumulated stuff. doing some laundry, feeding the baby, eating dinner, changing the baby, going to bed, getting up with the baby, etc... i've been trying to be as helpful as i can; grocery shopping, and cleaning and whatnot. moms is pretty much just taking care of lilly. your age-old story of bringing home a new baby girl, i guess.

today i got my hairs cut. i now feel civilized again! also, sara, my hairs cutter, sold us her slightly loved boppy seat thing so now lilly has a place to sit and fuss in the living room or the kitchen or the bathroom. she really does like to be in the center of all the action!

i've been trying to get abner to take some sort of interest in his new nemesis— i mean 'little sister,' but he simply doesn't want anything to do with her. he will once she figures out how to grab hold of his tail, i bet! but for now he just sniffs her stuff and hides when she cries.

ps — someone suggested i should get a tattoo of a lilly on my ass. i can't remember who that was, but when i do, rest assured that i will get you. either that or i will force you to watch as it happens!
